Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Fly Reaper (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android.
Fly Reaper is a humorous fly-kill journal — an entertainment app, not a pest-control tool. We designed it to work without an account and to keep your journal data on your device.
1. Who we are
Operator: v12v.dev
App name: Fly Reaper
Support: Support page
If you have questions about this policy, contact us through the support page above.
2. Summary
| Topic | What Fly Reaper does |
|---|---|
| Account | No sign-up, no login |
| Cloud sync | We do not operate a cloud backend for your journal |
| Personal identifiers | We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number in the App |
| Analytics / ads | We do not run our own analytics or advertising SDKs |
| Your journal | Stored locally on your device |
| Purchases | Handled by Apple / Google and RevenueCat (see §5) |
3. Information stored on your device
When you use Fly Reaper, the App saves data locally so it can show your stats, history, ranks, and achievements.
3.1 Fly kill journal (SQLite database)
For each entry you create, the App may store:
- Fly size (category you select)
- Weapon / tool (category you select)
- Aftermath / death state (category you select)
- Annoyance score (0.0–10.0)
- Date and time of the entry
This data is not uploaded to our servers. It remains in a local database on your phone or tablet until you delete it or uninstall the App.
3.2 Achievements
When you unlock an achievement, the App stores locally:
- Achievement identifier
- Unlock date and time
3.3 App preferences (SharedPreferences)
The App may store small preference flags on your device, for example:
- Whether you have completed first-launch onboarding
3.4 Premium status
If you buy Fly Reaper Pro (lifetime unlock), the App checks whether Premium is active so it can unlock ranks and related features. Purchase validation uses third-party services (see §5). We do not receive your payment card details.
4. Information we do not collect
Through the App itself, we do not intentionally collect:
- Your name, email address, or phone number
- Precise or approximate location
- Photos, camera, microphone, or contacts
- Health data
- Advertising identifiers for our own tracking
- Data for creating a user profile on our servers
The App does not require registration to use core features.
5. Third-party services
Some features rely on services operated by third parties. Those providers may process limited technical or purchase-related data under their own privacy policies.
5.1 Apple App Store / Google Play
If you purchase Fly Reaper Pro, payment is processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). We receive only what is needed to confirm that the purchase was completed (for example, entitlement status), not your full payment credentials.
- Apple Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
5.2 RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and Premium entitlements. RevenueCat may receive device and purchase-related identifiers needed to validate transactions and restore purchases.
- RevenueCat Privacy Policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/
5.3 Google Fonts
The App uses the google_fonts package, which may download font files from Google’s servers when required. That request may include standard network information (such as IP address) processed by Google.
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
5.4 App Store review link
If you tap Rate app, the App opens your platform store listing (Apple App Store or Google Play) using the system in-app review / store APIs. We do not receive your review text or star rating.
6. Why we process data
We process the data described above to:
- Let you log kills, view history, and see statistics
- Track ranks and achievements inside the App
- Remember onboarding and basic App settings
- Validate and restore Premium purchases
- Provide support when you contact us
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Data retention
- Journal, achievements, and local preferences stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
- Delete all data: In Settings → Delete all data, you can remove kills and achievement progress from the local database.
- Uninstalling the App removes local App data from your device (subject to platform behavior and backups).
- Purchase records may be retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their policies so you can restore non-consumable purchases.
We do not operate a central copy of your journal entries.
8. Children’s privacy
Fly Reaper is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us via the support page and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to an offline-first local app. Because your journal is stored on your device, you are also responsible for securing your device (passcode, biometrics, backups).
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
10. International users
Fly Reaper is available in multiple countries. Third-party providers (Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Google Fonts) may process data in countries other than yours. By using the App, you understand that such processing may occur.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other regions with data-protection laws, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of personal data held about you by those third parties. Because we do not host your journal on our servers, most user-controlled data is on your device and can be deleted through the App or by uninstalling.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or on our support site.
Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
